Symposium Overview
The International Symposium on Wood, Fiber and Pulping Chemistry (ISWFPC) is a leading global forum covering wood and fiber analysis, pulping and bleaching, biotechnology, paper technology, innovative packaging, biorefinery, and decarbonization in the pulp and paper industry.
It brings together researchers and industry experts worldwide to exchange ideas, share discoveries, and foster collaboration, while also addressing sustainability themes such as ecology, conservation, agricultural biotechnology, and waste-based biorefinery.
Symposium Organizers
The 23rd edition of the ISWFPC will be organized by School of Pulp and Paper Technology, Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Riau and Indonesian Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (INATAPPI). The event will take place from July 4-10, 2027 in Pekanbaru and Bali, Indonesia
